Location. The Seed Library is located within the WCC Bailey Library (1st floor Gunder Myran Building). Hours: Open during library hours. The Seed Library is open to all; no ID or library card is needed.

Mission Statement:
To create a seed library within the Bailey Library where students, staff, and community members can get seeds for free to start their own garden, learn about seed sowing, protect open -pollinated and unique varieties and support the fight against climate change. This will be a place to educate the WCC community about gardening and saving their seeds for future crops.

BORROW: Check out a seed packet from the Seed Library. Borrow only as much as you can grow. No ID needed and no due date.
GROW: Plant your seed in your garden or pots and watch them grow. Go to "Where To Start" tab for information on how to grow your seeds.
RETURN: Not required, but you can harvest your seeds from your vegetables and fruits at the end of the growing season. Return seeds to the Seed Library in the original envelop with label or fill in a label with information and add to a new envelop. Do complete the donation form so that we know who is return seeds to the library.

We are looking for students to help with organizing and planning workshops, seed sorting and repacking and much more!
We are looking for highly enthusiastic students willing to work with the Seed Library to form a student group.
