Link to an E-book

You can link to an e-book from Ebrary and NetLibrary Collections in Blackboard.

This page will provide you with the options available to you and how to create the link for easy access on and off campus.

E-Book collections

The WCC Library has two E-Book Collections with a combined access to over 90,000 books. Students have access to the books anytime anywhere. The two collections are:

How to Library Download E-Books

To download an Ebook Central e-book to your PC/Mac/laptop:

  1. Install the free Adobe Digital Editions reader from http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html on your computer.
  2. Find the eBook Central database on Bailey Library’s website, https://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/washtenaw-ebooks.
  3. Search for an e-book and click Full Download.
  4. Follow screen instructions to log in with your WCC netID and password, and click full download.
  5. Choose Laptop/Desktop.
  6. Download your book and Save the file.
  7. Open Adobe Digital Editions. Click File & Add to Library. Then open the ebook file as Adobe Content Server Message from your computer’s Downloads folder.
  8. Read the e-book on the Adobe Digital Editions reader on your computer.
