This library research guide is to support students taking courses from the Economic & Community Development for both the Workforce Development and the Community Enrichment course offerings.

About WCC Richard W. Bailey Library

The WCC Richard W. Bailey Library is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Gunder Myran Building.  The 1st floor houses the library collection and the 2nd floor provides over 180 computers both Mac and PC Computer Commons.

 

Borrow Books

The WCC Bailey Library collection includes over 60,000 print books and over 90,000 E-books.

To locate a book at the library, start at the library homepage and click the link "Find Books/Media/Journals"

The online catalog will include both print and E-books.

 

Using Research Databases

The WCC Bailey Library offers over 40 research databases to use when searching for newspaper, magazine, and journal articles.

From off campus you will need to use your WCC NetID and Password to login.  All databases are accessible from any WCC campus computer with no login requirement.

The Biz Resource Center at Washtenaw Community College is a partnership program between the Richard W. Bailey Library and  Michigan Small Business Development Center (MI-SBDC), Greater Washtenaw Region, which serves the counties of Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe and Washtenaw.
