"...group of people–farm members and growers–who share a vision and a commitment to the health of people and the land. In return for financial and moral support, the farm provides its members with a share of the harvest, as well as a place to find balance, inspiration and renewal."
"Project Grow provides Ann Arbor–area residents with the space, know-how, and inspiration to grow their own fresh, organic food. Gardens are located throughout the community, many near public transportation, so you can choose a site that's close to home."
In addition, Project Grow in partnershop with WCC offers an Organic Gardener Certification Program duing the Winter semester.
"Growing Hope has been empowering local communities to grow and eat healthy food. Young and old come together to grow their own fresh produce, revitalize their neighborhoods and teach one another the beauty and hope that comes from nurturing soil, seeds and self. Neighbors and vendors gather at our farmers market to connect and share around healthy, local food. Advocacy for social justice, self-reliance and healthy lifestyles results in public policy support for healthy food and urban agriculture."
