The Entrepreneurship Center (EC) at Washtenaw Community College is a welcoming resource hub that supports individuals in developing their entrepreneurial capacity. Through thoughtful conversations, partnerships, and programs, those at the college and in the surrounding communities are inspired and driven to actively grow their ventures as professionals, social innovators, or business owners.
The HVAC/R Partnership Pipeline Program offers free entrepreneurial programming to WCC’s HVAC/R department and HVAC/R students. Services include coaching with an Entrepreneur-In-Residence on starting or building a business or contracting in the field, an annual The Business of HVAC/R Boot Camp event, a future PITCH/HVAC/R business pitch competition with cash prizes, and an easily accessed online HVAC/R Resource Guide. The program is a partnership between WCC's Advanced Technologies & Public Service Careers Division, the Instructional Division and the Entrepreneurship Center.
