Opting Out
- Taking oneself off of data broker lists is neither quick nor always easy.
- Some require more information to prove your identity (i.e. driver's license, etc).
- Some 'opt out' services will remove you from their lists but they may not be comprehensive and it will cost a fee.
Turn Off Location in Apps
- When installing new apps, opt to not allow location permissions
- Check your apps individually for location permissions and turn them off.
