Annual Reports

Public companies are required to release an annual report for shareholders. Annual reports often contain:

  • Letter to shareholders
  • Company highlights
  • Analysis of company performance
  • New product plans
  • Market segment information
  • Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement)

Annual reports can be found on a company's website. Look for links to:

  • Investors
  • Investor Relations
  • Company Information
  • About Us

Some companies simply provide a link from the company website to the SEC Form 10-K in EDGAR (see below).

SEC Documents

Public companies are required submit the Form 10-K to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The 10-K is an annual report providing in-depth company and financial information, including company risk and legal proceedings.
