Learning Commons Semester Loan Laptop Check-Out
Requirements to borrow laptops:
- Must be a registered WCC student for the current semester
- Must be registered for at least 3 credit hours
- By checking out a Learning Commons Semester Loan Laptop you are agreeing to the following User Agreement
Laptop pick up:
- Requests must be made in person.
- Stop into the Learning Commons Lab on the 2nd floor of the Gunder Myran building.
- Go to the Info Desk in the Learning Commons Lab, a lab associate will verify your eligibility.
- If you meet the eligibility requirements above and there are available items, the items will be checked out to you on the spot and you can take them with you immediately.
Overdue/Lost fines and fees:
- Laptops need to be returned to the Learning Commons on the last day of the semester.
- Items will be billed as lost after the semester due date. The full replacement cost will be billed to the student account.
- Lost items returned in good working order will have no bills or overdue fees. All items (including power cords) must be returned with technology items.
Other Laptop Resources
WCC Learning Commons Semester Loan laptops are first come, first served. A limited number are available each semester, and are usually checked out during the first few weeks of classes.
If you are not able to check out a semester loan laptop there are a few other options available to you:
LC Lab
3 Hour Laptops
- Located on the 2nd floor of the Gunder Myran Building
- Laptops that can be checked out with a WCC ID and used in the Learning Commons and Bailey Library, GM 1st and 2nd floors.
- 3 hour laptops can be renewed for up to 6 hours total use.
- Laptops must stay in the Bailey Library or Learning Commons, can not leave areas.

Dell WCC Discount Program
- WCC has a discount with Dell for student laptop purchases.
- Laptops meet requirements for most WCC classes!
- LC Lab staff can help set up laptops.
