Canvas and Library Integration

Most databases make persistent links easy to find, but some require a little extra effort, and a select few don't generate persistent links for you at all. The information below provides you with instructions for the Gale databases one of the most popular databases that the library offers.

• The URL in the database address bar is NOT a persistent link. Do NOT use the URL link to share. 
• Use persistent links to share an article or e-book.

The term 'Get Link' guides you to the persistent link in Gale.

1. Search for an article.
2. Click on an article title from the results list
3. Top right, click on 'Get Link', click 'Copy'
4. Click 'X' to close the pop-up
5. Paste this URL into a syllabus, reading list, email, Canvas, or document of your choice!
